Hello MacMania listeners and readers,
Ben here. Before you freak out at another MacMania update on the blog, please realize that this in no way means that I will not be doing an episode on Sunday. As far as I can see, the episode Sunday night will still be hitting your feeds by late evening. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I will be away from the MacMania studio for 7 weeks starting today, and I will be podcasting from there. I will not have my good microphones and everything, but it still should be just fine. I just wanted to let you know with a short post, and thank you very much for understanding!

I wanted to tell you today about a cool new application I found called iStockFolio. iStockFolio is an application that I found on the App Store, and it seems to be really cool. It is an easy manager for your complete stock portfolio, and should come in handy in this economy.

Ben here again. I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but the newest MacMania episode will not be out until Tuesday. With it having been Father’s Day, you wouldn’t have had time to listen anyway, and I have had serious computer trouble this weekend. I am mostly back on my feet now, but will still need some time to get my hard drive shipped to me. No worries, though, I will have an episode all about my recent predicament coming out Tuesday.

As you probably know, I am virtually incapable of doing only one blog or podcast. Today, I would like to tell you about my newest venture, the Gourmet Blog. A lot of people sleepwalk or do other odd things during sleep, and Night Recorder is, as they say, the first iPhone application to help people with that. It provides a solution that detects noises during your sleep cycle, and automatically activates a recording system.

Today, instead of a review, I wanted to just let you know about a cool-looking application that came out a couple of days ago, which is the Apple store application. They released it recently to compensate for the recent downtime that happened for their online store. Due to so many people ordering the new iPhone, they had to release a new way of ordering because of so many server issues. Hey Guys,
Ben here. Sorry that I’ve been somewhat fickle recently with MacMania. I assure you, that’s not for long. I have had some more personal things going on with which I have had to deal, and have been unable to do a podcast due to time constraints as of late. Anyway, we’ll be back on the 23rd bigger and better than ever, and we just had our 3 year anniversary so we have plenty planned for then.
