Sorry for the sparse content recently, I have been away from the studios and have been with bad internet. Anyway, I wanted to tell you about a really cool app called iDiscrete. iDiscrete is available for the iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad, and I have been using it a lot lately as a security solution. The purpose behind iDiscrete is to create a very secure environment for your files, and make it seem like you do not have anything to hide. The way they do this is with a patented technology that encompasses gestures in order to create a way for people who do not know the gesture from even knowing that there were hidden files. There is a new version out that supports a myriad of files, and all necessary file types are now available to encrypt with iDiscrete, including documents and media files. It is overall a great application for security that can, as they say, “keep your private life private.” Also, it only costs $1.99 U.S., so it is a great value and can be found on the app store.

The newly released app FotoFlow, by Bas Meijer, seems to be built so people can show off the high quality of their new iPad or iPhone 4 with the Retina Display, this is the magic eye candy that proves this new gadget is really phenomenal! However it is also useful for people that simply want ‘some stuff on’ when it is in the cradle or on the car kit (entertaining the bored passengers) I just watch it, for inspiration, illumination, and entertainment.

I will be the first to admit that I am not exactly a reading enthusiast. However, I do really enjoy biographies, memoirs, and the like, as well as things also accessible on the Kindle such as the Wall Street Journal. The question that I have is now if the Kindle is worth it for me to purchase, for casual reading of the news and nonfiction books, as well as the occasional research on Wikipedia. This is meant to be a very interactive article, so please leave comments and tell me what you would do if you were me, or what you did do.

It is an easy manager for your complete stock portfolio, and should come in handy in this economy.

iStockFolio provides a lot of advanced features for tracking your portfolio. For example, it allows you to convert currencies for international portfolios, track all of your transactions, and more. Overall, iStockFolio seems to be a great option for tracking all of your stocks, and only costs $3.99 on the App Store.

I am mostly back on my feet now, but will still need some time to get my hard drive shipped to me. No worries, though, I will have an episode all about my recent predicament coming out Tuesday.
