Review of Frame4Zoom

Today, I will be reviewing an application called frame4zoom, which is software made to fit in with your image processing workflow. The application is another one of those applications that does one thing and does it well, which is great for its type of application.

The main goals of the application include adding borders to your photos, resizing them as necessary, and adding signatures to corners of the photos in an automated fashion. I found a folder of approximately 200 JPEG’s, and added them in, telling the application to save them to a folder I created on my desktop. Then, I selected border options, added a signature, and told it to begin processing. It was actually quite fast, as it processed 263 images in under 3 minutes.

Another cool feature that it provides is adding an unsharp filter to the photos, as well as another option for selecting the maximum size that the output images may be. While the application only works on JPEG files, it is a very handy utility to keep on your computer, and I highly recommend that you download a copy at their website. It is completely free, though the developer does ask for a donation.
